Paving Stones are ideal for patios, pool decks, walkways, and driveways. Paving stones are not connected by pouring grout between the joints, as done when installing tiles, instead sand is spread over the paving stones and with a tampered is tamped down. This offers some flexibility yet the stabilizes the paving stone.
